The View
The View Event Venue is located on the top floor of the newly constructed Davis Vision Center in beautiful South Jordan, Utah. This building was definitely designed with the views in mind, so much that it seemed only fitting to name our venue, The View. With floor to ceiling windows and stunning, sweeping views of the entire Salt Lake Valley, day or night, our space does not disappoint. We have worked with architects and interior designers experienced in weddings and corporate events to create the perfect place for your event.
- 2000 square foot main hall that is classic with a touch of modern elegance.
- Banquet seating for 130 guests or 300 guests for a flowing reception.
- State of the art Audio-Visual system (a huge 12-foot screen with projector, 42-inch JBL speakers, Bluetooth capability, microphones, and an easy to use touch screen controller).
- Media Assistance- Send us your slideshows and playlists, we are happy to receive and download them onto our system, and have them ready to go when you need them! You can also plug in your own device and/or use bluetooth for music.
- Custom Graphic for Projection- We love to make our clients a custom graphic for projection on South Venue wall. You pick your favorites from 50+ samples and we will make several options for you to pick your final choice.
- Catering kitchen just off main hall, equipped with sinks, refrigerator/freezer, and a pebble ice-maker.
- Groom's room, cozy space designed to relax and enjoy conversation or enjoy a show on Netflix.
- Bridal Suite, featuring full-length mirror, vanity, comfortable seating, and a private bathroom.
- A stunning circular backdrop, and several other large in-house backdrops.
- On-site host during your event.
- Linens- Up to 15 floor length linens, professionally cleaned, pressed, and delivered to the venue. 50+ colors to choose from. If needed, additional linens are available at $14 per linen. (Linen order must be placed at least 3 weeks before event for the above prices)
- Tables-Various sizes and shapes available: round tables, banquet tables, high and low bistro tables. Our full inventory is available for your use
- Beautiful Wooden Chairs- Our cross back wooden chairs look gorgeous in our Venue, up to 150 available for your use.
- Firepit and Lighted Patio- Beautiful outdoor patio with bistro lights and firepit, lit up during your event. Located right outside the main door on ground level, next to the main walkway.
- Public Restrooms- Separate full women's and full men's restroom on 3rd floor, just outside the Main Hall. Large with multiple stalls and full length mirrors. Changing table available in women's restroom.
- Parking- You and your guests can park in any stall in our large shared parking lot. Reserved parking stalls for your people needing to load and unload, located on North side of building, by North side door, which is the closest entrance to elevator.
- Open-Vendor Venue- Your choice of vendor is always welcome (with the exception of Bartender, in which you must choose from our Approved List)! We ask the your Vendors be Licensed and Insured.
- Decor Closet - Section 1 of our "Decor Closet" is included in the Rental Price and contains complimentary decor items. Section 2 of our "Decor Closet" offers more selection, and is an add-on for additional pricing.
- Backdrops- Several large in-house backdrops to choose from, see "Decor Closet - Section 1" for Backdrops that are included.
- East and North Window Drapery- Sheer off-white drapery available along the East and North floor-to-ceilng windows. Can be adjusted along a track and customized to your preference.
- Other included Decor Closet -Section 1 items:
- Water Dispensers, Ice Buckets, Standing Frames (Wooden and Black Metal), Various Easels, Podium, Gold or Black Wall Rod for hanging decor, etc. Inquire about our full Decor Closet. Section 1 is included, Section 2 is an add-on.
- Garbage Service- Our staff will monitor garbage during your event, replace liners and remove all garbage from building. Liners included.
- Deep Cleaning Post Event- We sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub,etc, after your event. We ask that you take out everything you brought in, make sure all garbage finds its way to the garbages cans, and leave the property in a reasonably tidy condition.
- Rolling carts-Multiple rolling carts are provided to help load and unload. Placed on the 1st floor and ready for you when you and your vendors arrive.
- Complimentary Room-Flips- Our staff member is happy to direct the movement of chairs and tables during room-flips. We create a digital layout for each layout to ensure a smooth and efficient room change, with the help of a handful of your wedding guests that you choose. We don't offer cleaning during room flips.
- 1st Floor Signage- Custom A-frame chalkboard signage, place on 1st floor by elevator, directing your guests to the 3rd floor.
- Ceiling Drapery Option- Four beautiful runners of sheer chiffon that span the length of the main Venue ceiling. (Inquire about our "Decor Closet" for more decor options!)
- Lobby Drapery Option- Sheer off-white drapery available for use in 3rd floor lobby, creating a cohesive and connected feel to the Main Hall, giving you a blank canvas to use the Venue lobby how you'd like.
- Glass Cylinders- 50+ glass cylinders available. Real flames allowed in a rigid container if the flame stays below the top.
- The Section 2 of our Decor Closet is available for an additional fee.
As per Utah State Law, smoking/vaping is not permitted inside or within 25 feet of the building. Alcohol is allowed to be served at The View Venue by a licensed and insured bartender from our approved list! We require a $300 Venue Alcohol Fee to do so. You MUST hire a bartender from OUR approved list of bartenders (which have been verified by us as licensed and insured). No shots allowed at The View Venue. Your bartender can serve a maximum of 4 hours for Daytime and Evening Rentals. Your bartender can serve a maximum of 6 hours for All-Day Rentals, with the number of service hours being dependent upon the timeline of when your guests are present at The View. We reserve the right to dismiss the bartender and alcohol service at any time if we feel like any risks might arise. We also ask for the "last call" to be finished up 30 min before your event ends. And as a reminder, we ask that your event activities end one hour before your rental slot ends.
